Having spoken to a couple of dog trainers, neither of whom inspired me with confidence, I was recommended to contact Yorkshire Dog Training Centres by a Mum from school.
As the owner of a soon–to-be large, strong and already wilful Doberman puppy, Reba, and a parent of two young children, I was keen to find a trainer who could help us to ensure she grew into a fun, well behaved and obedient dog that could join in with family activities.
When I met the Trainers, I was immediately reassured and impressed with their knowledge and experience. I felt extremely confident that they would work successfully with any breed, or size of dog, to get the best results.
We have now gone through a programme of individual one to one training, when Reba was six months, and are currently progressing through the Kennel Club awards (currently working towards Silver). I can’t recommend Harry and Craig highly enough.
Training sessions are friendly and sociable. They have a very open approach and are always happy to offer practical advice. The training is flexible, working at the right pace for both you and your dog. If you can’t quite master a command, then more help is provided until you do.
Their knowledge is very evident, they always take time to talk through the psychology of the dog and explain why it behaves the way it does, giving useful advice on the correct way to deal with the situation.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the training that Yorkshire Dog Training provide to any dog owner, I have found it invaluable.
